Humble Beginnings
At sixteen, Franklin Pichardo was washing cars in Santiago when he seized the chance to learn cigar rolling from industry legends. His friend Andres Belliard asked him, “Do you want to start rolling cigars?” With enthusiasm, Pichardo agreed, not knowing this 1995 decision would change his life. After 22 years in the cigar industry, he proudly reflects on his first 15 years as a master roller with Arturo Fuente’s Opus X brand. Today, Pichardo continues to perfect his craft and influence new generations.
