The Plasencia Alma del Fuego (Spanish for Soul of Fire) captures the passion and strength of Nicaraguan tobacco. A Nicaraguan puro, the Alma del Fuego’s binder and filler is composed primarily of tobacco that is grown on the island of Ometepe, which was formed by two volcanos. Volcanic soil along with the right climate conditions is ideal for growing tobacco. The island of Ometepe sits in the middle of Lake Nicaragua. Ometepe tobacco is known for its strength. Thus the name Alma del Fuego. However, its strength is tempered with a delicious sweetness that is accented with spicy, nutty, and citrusy notes super delicious smoke!
