Growing up in Santiago, Dominican Republic life was rough. As a young man, Franklin was faced with a decision be like everyone else or be an individual. At the age of only 15, he took a job working at the world famous Arturo Fuente Factory. After only 6 months of training and hand rolling, Carlito Fuente recognized his talent and promoted him to the Opus X Rolling Room. This was an honor that every roller strives to achieve. The task of supplying the world with the Opus X PerfecXion #2 was a challenge he took to and literally rolled with. In 2009, Franklin packed his bags and came to the United States so he could fulfill his dream of one day opening a retail cigar lounge and sharing his blending and rolling skills directly with the people.
